#998 Black-headed seagull - Scotland - 20th of June 2009, 6:45pm 

This photograph was taken around Aberdeen. I spotted gulls flying low on some location of the streets, I tried to get a shot with the 50mm, I ended with this photograph.

Making a picture with a “standard” focal lens gives the impression to the viewer to be in the scene. This is why I try to take almost all my pictures around the 35 – 50mm range when the subject is life related, if I can get close enough.
